Netflix Misses

Netflix (NFLX) reported 2nd Quarter June 2017 earnings of $0.15 per share on revenue of $2.8 billion. The consensus earnings estimate was $0.16 per share on revenue of $2.8 billion. The Earnings Whisper number was $0.18 per share. Revenue grew 32.3% on a year-over-year basis.

The company said it expects third quarter earnings of approximately $0.32 per share on revenue of approximately $2.97 billion. The current consensus earnings estimate is $0.22 per share on revenue of $2.87 billion for the quarter ending September 30, 2017.
